What is NPF TAS?

The National Police Foundation Testing & Assessment Service (NPF-TAS) is a testing directorate of the National Police Foundation. It runs transparent, merit based recruitment testing for federal law enforcement organizations in Pakistan. The National Police Foundation itself has worked since 1975 under the Ministry of Interior.

For the 2026-27 cycle, NPF-TAS is handling the complete recruitment process for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). That covers online applications on the npftas pk portal, physical tests, written tests and the final merit lists.

NPF TAS New FIA Jobs 2026-27

NPFTAS announced more than 1,485 FIA vacancies from BPS-01 to BPS-15 for the 2026-27 drive. Online applications ran on npftas.pk and the last date was extended to 11 May 2026, which has now passed. The recruitment is currently in the physical test phase.

Dates marked expected come from official NPFTAS announcements and can change, so always confirm on npftas.pk before planning travel.

Posts included: Assistant, Stenotypist, UDC, LDC, ASI, Sub Inspector, Constable and Staff Car Driver, among others.

NPFTAS Login: Applicant Login Portal

The NPFTAS login portal at npftas.pk is where applicants sign in to track applications and download slips. If you already made an account during the application phase, here is the npftas pk login process:

1. Open the official website npftas.pk in any browser. Chrome works best.
2. Click the Login button on the homepage to open the sign in page.
3. Enter your registered email or CNIC, your password, and solve the short security check.
4. Click Login. Your dashboard opens with your application status, slips and notifications.

Forgot Password? Recover Your NPFTAS Account

1. On the login page, click Forgot Password.
2. Enter your registered CNIC or email address.
3. You will get an OTP code by SMS or email.
4. Enter the OTP and set a new password. Use 8 or more characters with a number and a capital letter.

NPFTAS Sign Up: New Registration

Account creation is a one time step done during the application window. Here is how new registration works on the portal:

1. On npftas.pk, click Sign Up or Create New Account.
2. Enter your CNIC, first and last name, mobile number and email.
3. Create a strong password and confirm it.
4. Agree to the terms, then verify your account with the OTP sent to your mobile or email.
5. Complete your profile. Upload a recent photo and clear scans of your CNIC, educational certificates and domicile.

NPFTAS Apply Online for FIA Jobs 2026

This is how online apply works at www npftas pk:

1. Login to your account on npftas.pk, or sign up first if you are new.
2. From the dashboard, click Apply Online and pick the FIA post you are eligible for.
3. Fill the application form with your personal details, education and domicile or quota information.
4. Upload the required documents. Photo, CNIC and certificates must be clear scans.
5. Download the fee challan if your post requires one, pay it at the designated bank, then enter the payment reference.
6. Review everything and press Submit. Save or print the confirmation page with your application number.

Apply Online for Overseas Pakistanis

Overseas Pakistanis apply through the same npftas.pk portal with a few differences:

• Use your NICOP wherever the form asks for CNIC.
• An international mobile number works, but a Pakistani contact number makes OTP and SMS alerts faster.
• For fee payment from abroad, follow the method in the official advertisement, or have a family member deposit the challan in Pakistan with your reference.
• You must appear in person in Pakistan for the physical and written tests, so plan travel against the timeline above.

Check Application Status

To check your NPFTAS application status:

1. Login at npftas.pk.
2. Open Track Application or Application Status from your dashboard.
3. Your status shows as Submitted, Under Review, Accepted (slip available), or Rejected (with reason).

NPFTAS Roll No Slip 2026: Download Admit Card

The roll number slip (admit card) is mandatory. Without it you will not be allowed into the test center. Slips for the physical and endurance test are live now.

How to download your FIA roll no slip by CNIC:

1. Go to npftas.pk and open Download Roll Number Slip.
2. Enter your CNIC number and solve the security answer if asked.
3. Your slip appears with your roll number, test date, time and venue.
4. Print the slip. Color or black and white both work. Keep two copies.

FIA Physical and Endurance Test 2026

The FIA physical and endurance tests are being conducted from 5 to 21 June 2026 at zone wise venues. Your own venue and date are printed on your roll number slip.

General physical standards (confirm the exact figures for your post on your slip and the official advertisement):

What happens at the venue: measurement (height and chest), then the endurance test (running), then a document check. Candidates who clear the physical stage move on to the written test shortlist.

FIA Physical Test Result 2026

Physical test results are updated in your applicant dashboard on npftas.pk after your zone completes its tests. Candidates who pass receive their written test slip in the next stage, expected July 2026.

Physical Measurement Review Board

If you believe your measurement was recorded wrong, NPFTAS offers a Review Board facility. It is a re-measurement appeal that runs on a zone wise schedule published on npftas.pk. Apply for review immediately after your test, because review board dates are limited.

Shortlisted & Rejected Candidates

Shortlisted candidates: after the physical phase, NPFTAS publishes the list of candidates shortlisted for the written test on npftas.pk. Your dashboard shows your status too, and shortlisted candidates can download the written test slip once it goes live.

Rejected candidates: applications get rejected for incomplete documents, blurry uploads, eligibility mismatch or unpaid fee. NPFTAS earlier opened a correction window that let rejected applicants fix errors and resubmit. If your application shows rejected:

1. Read the rejection reason in your dashboard.
2. If a correction window is open, fix the issue and resubmit.
3. If you believe the rejection is wrong, use the Complaint / Appeal Form below.

FIA Written Test Date 2026 & Written Slip

The FIA written test for Assistant, Stenotypist, UDC, LDC, Staff Car Driver and other posts is expected in July 2026. The exact date, time and venue for each candidate will be printed on the written test roll number slip, and that is the only date that matters for you.

NPF-TAS has partnered with Virtual University (VU) for computer based testing (CBT) under an MoU, so written tests for many posts are taken on computers at designated centers.

FIA Written Test Slip

The written test slip is separate from the physical test slip. When written slips go live after shortlisting:

1. Open the slip download page on npftas.pk.
2. Enter your CNIC, then download and print the written test slip.
3. Verify the test center address before test day. CBT centers can differ from physical test venues.

FIA Written Test Syllabus 2026 & Pattern

The FIA written test has 100 MCQs with no negative marking. The 2026 syllabus includes a new FIA Act 1974 portion of around 10 percent, which replaced a previous section.

Weights are indicative and based on official pattern announcements. Papers for UDC, LDC and Assistant differ slightly in emphasis, so check the syllabus for your own post.

Sample Papers & Original Past Papers

• Past papers: FIA past papers from 2018 onward for Constable, ASI, UDC, LDC and Assistant are the best predictor of question style. Solve at least 3 full papers under timed conditions.
• Sample papers: when NPFTAS or FIA issue sample patterns, they appear on npftas.pk, so check your dashboard.
• A simple 2 week plan works well: week 1 for subject wise MCQs, week 2 for full timed past papers plus the FIA Act 1974.

NPF TAS Jobs 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

General eligibility for FIA jobs 2026:

• Nationality: Pakistani citizens, including AJK residents as per the advertisement
• Age: post wise, generally 18 to 28 years plus government age relaxation under the rules
• Domicile: quota allocation by province and region as given in the official advertisement
• Education and physical standards: post wise, see below

NPF Jobs 2026: Post-Wise Pay Scale & Salary

Approximate monthly salary by pay scale. These figures combine basic pay with standard allowances, and actual take home varies by station and post specific allowances.

1. Physical test result: updated in your npftas.pk dashboard after your zone completes, during June 2026.
2. Written test result: published on npftas.pk after CBT evaluation, following the July tests.
3. Final Merit List 2026: expected in September 2026. Post wise and quota wise merit lists go up on npftas.pk, followed by document verification and medical for selected candidates.

NPFTAS Login Problems & Solutions

The portal slows down or throws errors near deadlines and result days. Here are quick fixes for the most common problems:

NPF Complaint / Appeal Form 2026

If you have a genuine grievance, like a wrong rejection, a measurement dispute, slip errors or a payment that never reflected, use the official channel:

1. Go to npftas.pk and open Complaints / Appeal.
2. Fill the NPF Complaint / Appeal Form 2026 with your CNIC, application number, post and a clear description.
3. Attach evidence, such as a challan receipt, document scans or a slip screenshot.
4. Submit and note down the complaint tracking number.
5. For physical measurement disputes, request the Review Board. It is time bound, so apply right after your test.
